It seems that many people are having their email passwords used to send email from their accounts that they have not sent. I read an interesting reason why. If you use the same password on, for example, facebook, you use for your email it can, and does get picked up, due to the logging on to social sites is not secure. The trick is to use a password for your social sites that is different from anything important to you.
Good advice. Also, I think that for all passwords in general, that it should be a random set of capital and/or lowercase letters, numbers, and maybe even symbols, and then they can immediately be written down and kept in a personal book and/or document just for log-in information that only that person will have access to. Some of my passwords I can easily remember because I log into that site/service so often, but others I can't and usually don't bother remembering because I keep a list of all my personal ID's and passwords both in Braille in a little book and on a document on a USB stick in a consistent place where I can find them.
Their are programs for this, but I only wanted to talk about the sodial sites. Make sure you don't keep that on your computer in case it get compermised. Smile.
So true. Actually, to see how strong a password is, go enter it into twitter. Even if you don't sign up, it will tell you how weak/strong it is. I did this once, and I still don't have a twitter.
